I get it. When you're juggling a busy career and three kids, your own health often takes the back seat. That was my story. By 2022, putting myself last had caught up with me – I was carrying 155kg, battling hypertension, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol. My joints ached, my back hurt, and beneath it all, anxiety and depression were constant companions.

Taking the evidence-based, medical route to tackle obesity became my turning point. Starting with weekly GLP-1 injections and eventually undergoing a Gastric Bypass in 2024, I've lost over 65kg. But the numbers only tell part of the story. I've reversed my hypertension and high cholesterol and, more importantly, discovered a sustainable path forward through self-compassion, consistent movement, and nourishing food choices.

That's why I understand that life after bariatric surgery rarely follows a straight line.
